In Recurve, organization is the highest structure that include multiple projects and users. The organization owner can manage billing information, user permissions, and other resources.
This guide shows you how to set up an organization.
Prerequisite: You already have a Recurve account. Otherwise, visit Recurve to create one.
In the Welcome dialog after you've created an account, select Create Organization.
Provide the name and domain for your organization. This domain name is the unique identity for your organization and the destination when you access Recurve.
A Recurve organization always needs two types of environment: development and production.
Similar to the practice in software engineering, environments refer to the separate setups used for different stages of a project's lifecycle. Development is the playground where data engineers build, experiment, and test new setups and transformations. Meanwhile production contains the fully tested, stable data workflows.
When you create an organization, Recurve already sets dev and prod by default.
Once you've set up the environments, the next step is to install Recurve agent.
To access environment setup, on the left sidebar, click on the icon and select Environments & Workers.
